Quality is not a department — it is a process. At SAITE, every single brake shoe assembly, disc brake pad and drum lining that leaves our factory passes through our physical and chemical testing lab. Here are the 5 key tests we run on every batch.
We verify that the e-coat (electrophoretic painting) covers every surface uniformly. This ensures full corrosion protection, even on hidden internal edges of the brake shoe frame.
Hardness testers measure surface hardness on heat-treated shoe ends and contact points. We target HRC 28–45 — hard enough to resist wear, but not so brittle that it cracks under load.
Calipers, gauges and test fixtures check every dimension against OE specifications. Pin holes, shoe curvature, lining thickness — all measured to ensure perfect fit on first installation.
Spectrometers analyze the e-coat paint composition. We verify that the coating formula meets international standards for adhesion, hardness and weather resistance — batch after batch.
Our salt spray chamber simulates years of road exposure in hours. Coated shoes are sprayed with saline solution for extended periods to verify rust resistance — critical for export markets with humid, coastal climates.
Our testing process supports our ECE R90, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and FMVSS-121 certifications. Every batch is traceable — we know exactly which raw material lot, which machine run, and which test results went into the parts you receive.
This is why fleets in 50+ countries trust SAITE. Quality is not checked at the end — it is built in, step by step, and verified at every stage.
